The great traditions of Hungarian cuisine have, in the last 10 – 15 years, successfully mingled with
modern sophistication. At its roots, classic Hungarian gastronomy is nothing less than French bonne
bouches reaching Hungary via Austria and mixing with ancient Hungarian peasant dishes - many of them
originated in Asia - offering every gourmand something to your taste.
The first thing that people recall about Hungarian cuisine is goulash, which is, contrary to popular
belief, not a stew but an artistically prepared thick soup. Sour cream is often used to soften the
flavour. You must try fish soup, chicken paprika, a good home-made pörkölt (stew) and the excellent
fresh-water fish: grilled pike-perch, trout with almond. Also compulsory is goose liver. Whether
fried or grilled, cold or hot, it is simply unforgettable.
Desserts really deserve a separate chapter. The most delicious ones are strudels, Gundel pancakes,
somlói dumplings and gesztenyepüré (cooked chestnuts mashed, topped with whipped cream). Specialities
include salty and sweet pastas, of which túrós csusza (pasta with curd and sour cream) is warmly recommended.

dinner for you!

Caving in Budapest is a unique experience because
no other capital in the world contains natural caves!
2,5-3 hours long tour in the labyrinth of the longest cave of Budapest, called Mátyás Cave
(the cave not open for public).
You often have to climb on walls, crawl through narrow passages, or get down to your hands and
knees so you will get a sense of adventure. So, if you are sporty enough, you can apply for our
permanently starting cavetours, which are guided by qualified cavers.
Have you ever been in former soviet army barracks? Do you think it would be fun to play
paintball there?
Now you can play paintball in 10.000m2, in 6 different fields (buildings, hangars, tranches and varied
fields)!
For the lovers of technical sports!
We provide 250 cc semi-automatic HONDA quads (ATV), which design and quality guarantee maximal safety
and fun! Because of our guests maximum satisfaction, we created two quad fields, next to the paintball
areas. We are waiting for the riders with steep bends, dikes, etc. in our field to test themselves,
and of course our quads, too.
If you like exciting and extreme programs, you would love this!
You can try roping down, running down from 20 metres, and a 60 m long tyrolean.Do you want to raise
your adrenalin level? You have to check this out!
TRY THE TOYS OF THE BIG BOYS
WITHOUT HARMING ANYONE!
If you are out in the ex-eastern bloc, then what better way to entertain yourself than blasting the hell out of a load of cardboard cut-outs with some of the KGB’s favourite toys?
It`s time to find out what you`re made of with a shoot out. Take aim with a 45 Heckler and Kock, a 357 Magnum and a Czech CZ 75 to name but a few... this is a top stag activity that you simply can`t do anywhere else in the world.
You will be shown how to and how not to use it. Then in groups of four you can go into the shooting area and blast away. Each person gets to shoot 100 rounds which also includes a competition at the end. Proof of your skills, good or bad, can be taken with you when you roll up and take the target sheet home with you.
